I have been associated with Progyan for the past three years. They have set up a fully functional laboratory in a remote location in Sundarbans which is highly commendable. Progyan has supported two M. Tech. students in their dissertation work, one on float farming and the other on embankments. Additionally, the program is associated with a PhD student working on biofilms. I found Dr. Dey and Dr. Dey to be very dynamic and knowledgeable. The field staff are very helpful. I look forward to having more collaborative projects with Progyan.
It is my great pleasure to work with the Progyan Foundation for Research and Innovation (PFRI) as an Environmentalist from BSMRAU, Bangladesh. PFRI has already proved itself to research climate change and its impact on a sustainable environment in the South Asian Region. I am highly interested in working with PFRI on the capture of atmospheric carbon and the development of bio-fertilizers using microbes in collaboration with an international funding organization.
Progyan has been supporting project works of MTech and PhD students of Jadavpur University for the past three years. Their research personnel and field staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Their involvement in multifarious projects on social and environmental issues is commendable. I plan to continue my collaboration with Progyan, particularly to transfer scientific knowledge and research to the field.
Since the last three years, the Progyan Foundation for Research and Innovation (PFRI) is working profoundly at the science society interface. PFRI works towards the advancement of scientific knowledge across different socio-ecological production landscapes and seascapes (SEPLS) and developing climate-resilient frameworks with operational guidelines for natural resource conservation in this climate milieu.
I have been associated with Progyan for the past two years. For the last few years, they are wholly associated with research and sustainable development for the sake of the environment and society. We are collaboratively working on different aspects of science and research and in 2022 weather station system was installed in the field research station of Progyan situated in Indian Sundarban.
Progyan Foundation for Research and Innovation has already proven itself for research on climate change and its impact on a sustainable environment in the South Asian Region. Their involvement in multifarious projects on social and environmental issues is commendable.
